How can I check the status of my order?
You should get a confirmation email as soon as you complete your order, and a second confirmation when the order actually ships. If you don’t receive a confirmation, check your junk mail folder. If you use an email client, such as Mac Mail, Outlook, or your smartphone, you may need to access the junk mail folder directly through your email provider, such as Gmail or Yahoo Mail. You can also log in on your My Account to see your order history, which will show all of the orders you have placed using that account. If you still don’t find a confirmation, contact us and we can verify your order for you.
I'm a "starving student" do you offer any installment plans or other payment options?
At the moment we do not offer any payment options other than credit card.
I'm a student, alumnus or Academy employee and my online account shows my old address.
How can I get that updated?
Art & Design Supply cannot access your student / employee account information to change your address or password or email. You can update that yourself through the Student Self Service page.
Who decides which materials are needed for my courses?
Your course instructor has provided Art & Design Supply with a selected list of materials for each course.
How do I order?
Simply log in with your Academy of Art University username and password. You will then be directed to a convenient list of your classes you are currently enrolled in. Next to the class title, click "Buy Art Supplies" to view a list of your required and optional fine art materials. Check the quantities and add to your shopping cart to begin checking out.
Please remember that you may be required to purchase items other than fine art materials for your classes. For more information on this, visit the Academy of Art University's Course Catalog.
Whether ordering by phone or online, all orders must be made using Visa or Mastercard.
How do I update my billing information?
If you are logged in with your student account, you cannot make changes to your billing information in the check out process. To update your billing information, you must log into your Academy of Art University's Peoplesoft account.
How soon before my class starts do I need to place my class supply orders?
How do I receive my student discount?
In order to receive your 20% Student Discount, log onto the Academy of Art University's Art & Design Supply with your Academy of Art University username and password.
Does my student/staff/alumni discount apply if a product is already discounted?
Yes! You will receive your student discount in addition to any discounted merchandise. Items from the following brands will be excluded from this offer: Golden, Williamsburg, Gamblin, Liquitex, Winsor & Newton, Copic, MABEF Easels, Montana Cans and Kolo Albums..
Who do I contact if I have a problem or question with my order?
You can always contact Art & Design Supply for answers to your questions, but please be aware that we cannot access your student / employee account information. If you have incorrect or outdated account info, you will need to contact the online help desk at 1-888-431-ARTS (2787) or through the Student Self Service page.

What is Art & Design Supply's connection with the Academy of Art University?
Do I need to be affiliated with the Academy of Art University to order from the site?
No! We encourage anyone to shop online for quality art supplies through Art & Design Supply.
How do I order?
If you are affiliated with the Academy of Art University as a professor or staff member, you may log in with your Academy of Art University username and password to receive a 10% discount off any orders.
If you have no affiliation with the Academy of Art University, you have the option to create an account with Art & Design Supply or to purchase fine art materials as a guest. The benefits of creating an account include a faster checkout process, where Art & Design Supply saves certain customer information for you, as well as a list of your purchase history to help you remember which products you love. No credit card information will be saved, and any information retained by Art & Design Supply is 100% safe and secure.

Do I get a discount if I'm an AAU alumnus? How does that work?
For now, you'll need to sign up for an outside user account and log in as a non-affiliated store customer. Then, contact us before you place your order so we can apply the alumni discount code to that account. Once that's done, you'll get your discount applied to all orders placed on that account. In the future, we hope to have the process simplified so that you can just log in with your AAU account number.

What if I don't see a specific brand on your site? Can I place special orders?
We do not place special orders. Art & Design Supply carries an expansive selection of quality art and craft products for students and professional artists.
Is backordering available?
Backordering is not available with Art & Design Supply.
